Opportunity Information: Apply for PAS CHISINAU FY17 03
The Democracy Commission Small Grants Program aims to enhance the skills and effectiveness of frontline communicators in various ministries of the Government of Moldova. The program will run for a year, featuring monthly training sessions that combine both in-person and virtual formats. The award recipient will handle logistics for these sessions and develop an online self-training course from the recorded materials. Topics covered will include media collaboration, digital campaign planning, speechwriting, and the use of digital tools such as infographics and social media analytics.
Eligible applicants include not-for-profit organizations like NGOs, civil society organizations, and think tanks registered in Moldova. Organizations without Moldovan registration can participate only as partners. Applicants are encouraged to collaborate with local stakeholders from both public and private sectors and may form consortia, but one organization must be designated as the lead.
Proposals must adhere to specific criteria, including demonstrating existing partnerships within Moldova. Organizations cannot seek profit from this funding, and applicants requesting grants over $25,000 must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and hold a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI).
